WE'RE OPEN and we’re excited to be welcoming you back! Our NEW attraction hours are Wednesday-Sunday 11 AM-5 PM, closed Monday and Tuesday. But before you visit, we have important information for you specific to the NEW GUEST PROTOCOLS we’ve put in place. Please review these additional details and Q&As.

What can I see and do there?

Crayola Experience is packed with 20 creative activities and attractions where color, chemistry, and technology magically combine to create a colorful adventure for your child. Enjoy a live show on how Crayola crayons are made. Explore Melt & Mold where you can create everything with melted wax or create your very own Crayola crayon at Wrap It Up! Visit our Things To Do page to learn more about each area.

What are your hours of operation?

Crayola Experience hours vary depending on the time of year. Daily operating hours and special events are always posted on our calendar. We recommend allowing at least 3-4 hours for your visit to ensure you can try each and every attraction!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Travelers’ Checks. We will accept organizational checks for group reservations. No personal checks will be accepted.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the Mall of America where we are located. We recommend parking at P4 Florida on the south side of the East parking ramp.  A enclosed skyway bridge runs directly from Level P4 in the East parking structure directly to our entrance and mall.

Do you offer group rates?

For groups of 15 or more paying people there is a group rate discount. Please visit the Groups & Parties section of our website to contact the correct person to book your group.

How long should I plan on staying there?

Bigger than an NFL football field, most families spend 3-4 hours exploring our attractions. While our Color Crew staff are always available all activities are self-guided, so you get to go at your own pace and stay as long as you would like!  We even have our Snack Shack and Café Crayola inside the attraction so you don't need to leave for a bite to eat or refreshment.

How much is admission?

General Admission is $24.99 plus tax per person. Children 2 - under are free. Seniors 65+ are $19.99 plus tax each. Annual Passes are only $34.99 plus tax per person for 1 full year of colorful fun! SAVE on general admission when you purchase online!

How should the kids dress?

Crayola Experience is a fun-filled play day for your kids. So, dress for mess, not Sunday best. Most children wear play clothes when visiting the Crayola Experience.

Is re-entry allowed?

Yes! Once you purchase your admission, it is valid until closing time that day. Be sure to get a wrist band before exiting if you would like to re-enter that same day.

Is there a Crayola retail store?

Yes. We have a huge Crayola Store located at Crayola Experience. Shop from the largest selection of Crayola products and discover one-of-a-kind Crayola souvenirs. Admission is not required to visit the Crayola Store. There are two entrances to the store, one from inside the Mall of America and one from the Crayola Experience attraction.

Is there any place to eat lunch?

Café Crayola and Snack Shack are located inside the attraction area. There you can purchase lunch and snacks.
