We are celebrating our Sea Voyage theme with a visit from our friends at the Center for Aquatic Sciences based in Camden, NJ

Join us Friday, August 23rd from 12pm-2pm to explore the colors under the sea with our special visitors. You'll be able to inspect how many teeth are in a real-life shark jaw and see just how hard a turtle shell can be. You'll also be able to meet some of their live animal ambassadors in their touch tanks!

Celebrate International Chalk the Walk Day as we spread kindness with artist Mario Zucca. Watch him create a colorful masterpiece and then join in by adding your own personal touch to his creation.

About the Artist: Mario Zucca is a Philadelphia-based artist, illustrator, and map-maker with over 20 years of experience creating one-of-a-kind graphics for a wide array of clients, including the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Pirates, The Home Depot, Altra Running, Chase Bank, and Dr Pepper. Known for his playful aesthetic, his vibrant work has graced sports stadiums, national publications, jigsaw puzzles, advertisements, and a diverse array of merchandise. With a unique blend of creativity and detail, Mario continues to leave his mark on the world of art and design.

Create your very own original character in this workshop lead by Mellen Reinbold, a local illustrator known for her fantastical characters! Learn a variety of idea generation techniques while using mixed-media tools, explore the seven elements of art, and create your own colorful character!

About the Artist: Mellen Reinbold is a local Illustrator who loves creating fun and fantastical characters to share with the world. She’s always thinking up new ideas and looking for new inspiration. When she’s not drawing, you can find her exploring the woods with her dog, Potato, or enjoying a hot cup of tea.
