Crayola Experience is reopening!

We're excited to announce that our EastonOrlando, Plano and Mall of America attractions are OPEN! The Crayola Store at each of these locations also is open. Please visit those websites for detailed information that will help you plan your visit. 

Our Chandler attraction in Chandler, Ariz., remains temporarily closed until further notice, however The Crayola Store in the Chandler Fashion Center is open. We will communicate our plans to reopen the Chandler Crayola Experience when they are known. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

When will you reopen?

As the COVID-19 situation remains dynamic and uncertain, we will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate any reopening plans when they are known. Please continue to check this web page for additional updates.

How will you communicate when you plan to reopen?

We will excited to reopen so be assured we won’t be quiet about it. We will include the reopen date on our website, in posts on our Facebook and Instagram social channels, and in emails to guests who have signed up to receive communications from us. We also will notify the local media.

Will annual passes be extended?

Yes. Expiration dates for annual passes that were valid as of March 14, 2020, will be automatically extended beyond the date that appears on your pass (see ticket image below) for the number of days we are closed plus an additional 30 days. This new expiration date will be your new renewal date. We’ll be able to communicate the exact number of extension days once we confirm our reopening date.

What if I have tickets that are about to expire?

Expiration dates for all valid, unused tickets as of March 14, will be automatically extended for the number of days we are closed plus an additional 30 days beyond their expiration date (see ticket image below). We’ll be able to communicate the exact number of extension days once we confirm our reopening date.

Can I use my tickets at a different Crayola Experience location from what is listed on the tickets that I purchased or won?

Your tickets can be used at a different location through the extended expiration date. However you will need to go to the admissions desk at the new location and exchange your tickets at the time of your visit.   

What if I have a dated/timed ticket but you are still closed?

No problem. We will honor tickets for up to 1 year beyond the date of purchase. Just bring your tickets to the admissions desk when you visit and we’ll reissue them.

Additionally, expiration dates of all valid tickets as of March 14, 2020, will be automatically extended beyond for the number of days we are closed plus an additional 30 days. We’ll be able to communicate the exact number of extension days once we confirm our reopening date.

However, if you are using your tickets for a location that is different from what was originally reserved, you will need to go to the admissions desk at the new location and exchange your tickets at the time of your visit. 

Will you accept coupons that expired while you were closed?

Valid coupons that expired while our attraction was closed, beginning March 14, 2021, will be honored for 30 days after that specific Crayola Experience location reopens.

Can I purchase tickets/annual passes now, and if I do will I also get an extension?

Yes, you can still purchase advance tickets and annual passes, however please be advised that all ticket reservations are subject to change and entry is subject to availability for that specific date/time. Rest assured, we will offer ticket/annual pass extensions if we are not yet open on the day you selected.

Will you reschedule special events that were affected by the closing?

We look forward to continuing to delight our guests with colorful special events. For those that had to be canceled as a result of the COVID-19 situation, we’ll work with our partners to try and find another date once we have more information on when we will reopen.

I have a group trip / birthday party scheduled on a date affected by the closure. What do I do?

We know that your party was excited to visit us and are disappointed in the delay. So are we. We will be happy to work with you to reschedule your visit as soon as we reopen. If you have an urgent matter that requires immediate attention, please email us at CEguest@crayolaexperience.com. We can’t wait to host your party for a day of creative fun.

Are you taking reservations for groups and parties?

We will begin taking reservations once we’ve announced our reopening schedule. We can’t wait to host you and your party for a day of creative fun so please keep checking our website or Facebook page for updates.

What preventive measures will you take when you reopen?

At our open attractions, we’ve implemented several new protocols aligned with state and local requirements, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, and industry recommendations that are designed to promote cleanliness, social distancing and reduced contact. Once your location's Crayola Experience reopens, its website will provide detailed information on all the new protocols and procedures in place to welcome you back. Some will include: 

  • Requiring face masks for employees and guests.
  • Restricting occupancy capacity.
  • Entry screenings for employees and guests, including temperature checks.
  • Clear bags for any personal belongings.
  • Recommended cashless transactions to reduce physical contact.
  • Signage to facilitate a minimum of 6 feet physical distancing.
  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols.
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations.
