Model Magic Ant Stick Puppet

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! From paints and markers to glue and scissors, our crafts section has everything to spark creativity and make every project truly special.

  • Glitter Glue
  • Markers
  • Model Magic

Steps

  • Step 1

    Roll 3 pieces of Model Magic into balls, approximately 1” in diameter.

  • Step 2

    Form 1 ball around end of craft stick.

  • Step 3

    Press remaining balls on either side of first ball to make ant body.

  • Step 4

    Create Model Magic legs, antennae, and eyes. Press to attach. Dry overnight.

  • Step 5

    Draw pupils and mouth with markers.

  • Step 6

    Add sparkly details with glitter glue. Dry 3–4 hours.

  • Step 7

    Create a cast of critter characters—or just one—and put on some stick puppet theater!

  • Model Magic pieces that haven’t dried will easily adhere to one another. For added strength, or to attach dried pieces of Model Magic together, use our No-Run Washable School Glue.
