Answers to questions about ticket expiration extensions, visit reservations, purchasing tickets, coupons, and the new 2020 Unlimited Pass.


NOTE: We have implemented several new operational and visitor protocols aligned with state and local requirements, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, and industry recommendations. Information is location specific, and protocols and operating hours are subject to change. As you make your plans and before you leave home, please review visitation information of the location you plan to visit.

Will ticket expiration dates be extended?

Yes. We are automatically extending expiration dates for valid, unused tickets as of March 14, 2020 by the number of days we were closed plus an additional 30 days from the date we reopen.

That means if we reopen as scheduled on Aug.1, 2020, your new expiration date will be extended 5.5 months – 169 days (139+30) – beyond the date that appears on your ticket (see image below to locate your current expiration date).

For example, if your tickets expired on June 30, 2020, we’ll honor them through Dec. 16, 2020. There is no action needed on your part. If you have a special circumstance and need assistance, email us at CEguest@crayolaexperience.com.

 

Are reservations required?

We strongly recommend you purchase tickets through our new online timed-entry ticketing system. This allows you to easily pick a date and time to visit and helps us manage capacity for social distancing and so everyone has an enjoyable experience.

Please be aware that entry is subject to capacity limitations. To schedule a timed entry, visit the website of the location you would like to visit and click on the “Buy Tickets” link.

If you choose to purchase tickets on site at a cashier or kiosk, you are subject to the same availability displayed in our online ticketing system. If the entry time when you arrive is unavailable, you may purchase tickets for the next available entry time that accommodates your party.

We cannot schedule timed entries or hold a visitation time over the phone or through email.

How do I purchase tickets and reserve a time to visit?

It’s easy!

  • Visit the website of the location you would like to visit and click on the “Buy Tickets” link.
  • Indicate how many tickets you want.
  • Choose an available date and entry time from the calendar.
We cannot schedule timed entries or hold a visitation time over the phone or through email. 

Can I call or email to reserve/hold a visitation date or time?

No. We cannot provide you with a timed entry or hold a visitation time over the phone or through email. At this time, timed entries are available only when you purchase tickets online or at the admissions counter or kiosks located at the attraction. For previously purchased tickets, please reference the questions and below.

Can we purchase tickets at the attraction?

Yes, however we strongly recommend you purchase your tickets online to schedule a timed entry for your visit. Please be aware that entry is subject to capacity limitations. If the entry time when you arrive is unavailable, you may purchase tickets for the next available entry time that accommodates your party. 

For those who wish to purchase tickets at a cashier or kiosk on site, we’ve implemented touchless e-ticketing to limit physical contact. 

  • You will need a mobile phone and must provide an email address that the phone can access.
  • At the time of your purchase, you will receive an email with your e-tickets and receipt.
  • Open the email on your mobile phone and proceed to the access gate where we will scan the bar code. 

We cannot schedule timed entries or hold a visitation time over the phone or through email.

I have valid, unused tickets that are within the extended expiration period but they don’t have a specific visitation date and time. How do I change these to reserved tickets?

We are unable to change your untimed tickets to timed entry tickets through our online ticketing system, by phone, or through email. This is for all untimed tickets, including those purchased from Crayola Experience or a third-party agent such as Groupon, won in a giveaway or complimentary.

However, our admissions projections take into account untimed entry ticketing. We do not expect any capacity issues at this time. Just go straight to the access gate when you arrive. On the small chance that the entry time when you arrive is unavailable, we anticipate your wait to be less than 30 minutes.

What if we're late for our reserved time?

We understand. Sometimes you run late. We'll do our best to get you in as soon as you arrive. Please be aware that entry is subject to capacity limitations. If the entry time when you arrive is unavailable, we’ll get you in at the next available time that accommodates your party.

I have tickets for a specific visitation date and time but our plans changed. How can I reschedule?

Just email us at CEguest@crayolaexperience.com 48 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival and we’ll be happy to work with you to reschedule your visit. Please include the Crayola Experience location, ticket confirmation number, date and time printed on the ticket, and new date and time you’d like to visit.  


If you have a change within the 48-hour window, please call us at 610-515-8000 and we’ll be happy to work with you to reschedule your visit. Tickets purchased on or after Aug. 1, 2020, are valid for 1 year from date of purchase.

I already have ticket reservations for later this year (post reopening). Is there anything additional I need to do?

You’re all set. Just review our reopening information to plan your visit, show up at your scheduled time, and have fun. We can’t wait to see you!

What is the 2020 Unlimited Pass?

This new visitor’s pass – valid only from Aug. 1 through Dec. 31, 2020 – is good for unlimited visits to any Crayola Experience at the cost of a full-price admission ticket ($24.99).

You can purchase the pass online or at the attraction. If you purchase it online, you must visit the location for which it was originally purchased to receive your Unlimited Pass, after which you can use the pass at any of our five attractions around the country. The 2020 Unlimited Pass is only good through the end of the year, is non-transferable, and cannot be applied to any discounted ticket.

Can I use the 2020 Unlimited Pass at any of the Crayola Experience locations?

Yes, however you must first visit the location for which the full-price admission ticket was originally purchased to receive your Unlimited Pass card. Once you have your pass card, you can use it at any of our five attractions around the country. The 2020 Unlimited Pass is only good through the end of the year, is non-transferable, and cannot be applied to any discounted ticket.

What’s the difference between a 2020 Unlimited Pass and an Annual Pass?

A 2020 Unlimited Pass allows unlimited visits to Crayola Experience through the rest of this year but does not include any of the discounts and perks that Annual Passholder enjoy. Additionally, the Unlimited Pass ends Dec. 31, 2020 while annual passes are valid for 12 months.

How do I purchase 2020 Unlimited Passes and reserve my visits?

You can purchase these passes online.

  • Visit the website of the location you would like to visit first and click on the “Buy Tickets” link.
  • Click on the 2020 Unlimited Pass link.
  • Please note that when you purchase the pass online, you must use the 2020 Unlimited Pass; web general admission tickets are discounted and do not qualify for this offer.

You can also purchase the 2020 Unlimited Pass at the attraction.

The 2020 Unlimited Pass is only good through the end of the year, is non-transferable, and cannot be applied to any discounted ticket.

I already purchased a discounted ticket. Can I upgrade it to the Unlimited Pass?

Of course! The purchase price of your ticket can be applied towards a 2020 Unlimited Pass or any one of our Annual Passes on the day the ticket is used. Just visit the admissions counter before you leave the attraction. Please note that the upgrade must be done on the day of your visit.

Will you accept coupons that expired while you were closed?

Valid coupons that expired while we were closed will be honored for 30 days after we reopen.
